Hi,
I'm Tammy. I grew up in small-town Australia, and after school, I ventured to the city where I took on various jobs. Eventually, I found my niche in hospitality, living and working in iconic places like Uluru and Hamilton Island. It was in this vibrant industry, amidst a tapestry of personalities, that my love for travel was ignited. Each year, I embarked on adventures to immerse myself in diverse cultures—a passion that dovetailed seamlessly with my love for photography.
Photography has been my saving grace. It's not just about capturing moments; it's about embracing life's adventures. I've learned this firsthand, often prioritising the safety of my camera over my own — cue a few comical bruises and mishaps along the way!
I believe in capturing moments authentically, in the raw beauty of the present. For me, photography is about being fully engaged with the world around me. If the light isn't right or the colours don't align with the moment's essence, I won't press the shutter. I don't believe in altering reality to fit unrealistic expectations. Instead, I seek out the extraordinary in the everyday, whether it's amidst the backdrop of an iconic destination or in the simple, fleeting moments of everyday life.
After dedicating over 25 years to hospitality, I made the bold decision to pursue my passion full-time. As the saying goes, "love what you do," and I couldn't agree more. Through my lens, I aim to share the awe-inspiring beauty I encounter, inviting you to join me on journeys both near and far.
Photos have a unique power — they evoke memories, stir emotions, and tell stories. Over the years, I've come to realize that my memories of a place can become someone else's cherished moments. Each image holds not only my experiences but also the potential to spark your own memories and narratives.
So, whether you're seeking to reminisce about past adventures or to embark on new ones through imagery, I invite you to explore my world captured through the lens.
